MacDowell Colony · A New Site for A New Identity
The MacDowell Colony, a storied haven for artists across disciplines, needed a digital presence as impactful as its century-long legacy of fostering creativity. With a new brand identity and an NYC office launch, it was the perfect moment to reimagine their website.
We set out to craft a digital experience that captured MacDowell’s artistic spirit and bold vision, something lacking in their current digital presence. Inspired by their new branding, featuring bold typography, vibrant color-blocking, and a logo symbolizing collaborative creativity, we designed a site that not only reflected the organization’s prestige but also celebrated its seven artistic disciplines: architecture, film/video, interdisciplinary arts, literature, music composition, theater, and visual arts.
The result was a dynamic, visually striking website that embodied the spirit of artistic collaboration and innovation, positioning MacDowell for the next generation of creators.
